What Is Gamification?
Gamification is taking principles of play and pairing it with real world activities to result in life being more enjoyable and exciting. You're already using it every day - most apps and social media platforms are designed using gamification, and you can use these same tactics on yourself to better your life, stay on track and help your character experience your big wins in life! Here's the theory: Life is a game. Our lives are nothing more than levels and challenges brought upon us for our higher good and future self. Now, before you start thinking that challenges are negative, let me explain why challenges are your greatest advantage in life. The bigger the challenge =, the larger the life lesson. Lessons are blessings. Count your lucky stars for every challenge you have ever faced. The challenge itself was not the point; the point was to teach you what you needed to learn from that experience so you could increase your skillset. Skillset? Yes. If life is a game and we are our characters, every time we grow through life lessons, our character expands its skillset and LEVELS up. See, in life, we ask for big things. Things we are not ready for sometimes. That is why when we begin to grow and expand, it often starts to pour down rain with challenges. These situations arise because they are here to teach you what you must know to take you to the next level you have asked for.
