The lessons of life are meant to take you the bottoms of bottoms for thats the only place your growth will occur.
That's why you must rise up and CONQUER the levels.
Don’t worry about who or what teaches you the lessons - you will never need to ‘deal’ with anyone or anything that ever hurts you during your journey. Karmas got that job and you’re fully covered with her insurance policy.
