Society has conditioned us into being people-pleasing machines - instilled with the fear of what would happen if one was to go against the herd. Let me tell you - what happens? FREEDOM.

The problem is - every time we do or say anything to please someone else, we are disrespecting ourselves.

We 'think' we are happier and safer being liked and accepted by others - but really, we are just being silently controlled and censored. By who? Ourselves. That's the trick - we've been trained into censoring ourselves in exchange for attention.
When you're brave enough not to conform for the sake of pleasing, you will KNOW that it was a trap all along.
