Life got boring. Not in the ‘I’m bored on Saturday night’ kinda feeling. More like the ‘ what’s the point of all this?’ Round and round with the same types of people, all stuck on the same levels with the same mindsets. I imagine this is what the word mediocre is more accurately describing when used to reference one's state of life. ✨
I previously had been under the impression that a ‘mediocre life’ when used in conversation when used to reference average, was conferring a sense of an average material world. Average income, average house, average car. That wasn’t until I actually obtained all my material objects💡 that I realized you could have a mediocre life and still have tons of cool material items or aka ‘ status’ symbols. And that was the aha moment, having a mediocre life has nothing to do with items and status. A mediocre life is a life of no growth. A mediocre life is a life of the same levels over and over and over again. A mediocre life is not experiencing more levels, more challenges, more growth! New levels and even new game boards! Treat your life as an endless menu of new land to conquer and new skills to collect along the way. 🚨 Be cautious to get trapped being one character in one place for too long.
