I only started journaling in 2014. So that's four years ago. In this video, you will see what 4 years of my thoughts look like. I was taught by someone in 2014 that reading was inhaling and writing was exhaling. There are two parts to learning in our lives - when we have to learn the information, but the more important part is we actually do with the information once we have gained it. Integrating what is learned and applying it to our lives is the most important part of personal development.
We can't ever change something about ourselves or about our lives if we don't first acknowledge it + recognize it. Once we shine a light on ourselves we are then able to go to work on the parts of our livers we wish to improve.
It’s only once we acknowledge that there is something to work on do we have the power to change it.
I encourage you to read to write get to know yourself. Tell your story, explore where you've been and where you want to go as well as how you're going to make that happen. One of the best parts about moving and looking backward is looking at what I used to do and how I used to be.
