Kill Your Plan B
Jul 30, 2024Choices and Confusion - Sometimes, that happens because we have too many options. Or we are working with too many people; we have too many plans. You should only ever have a Plan A. Don't have a Plan B. Having a Plan B will train your subconscious mind to project failure as it knows there is a second and most likely easier option available to it. See, your mind's sole purpose is to save and preserve energy, and this is why it goes on autopilot, always choosing the easiest route, often being the route it has chosen every time before. Because if it doesn't have to think - it saves energy. Why would it guide you towards stepping out of your comfort zone and doing new and scary things - if you have provided it with the safe haven of a promise, it could return to staying the same. Planning for a Plan B will be the death of your Plan A. Be bold - be sure - believe in yourself. If you have the dream to bring it to life - this is your divine design - your divine design is that one thing you are here to do that no one else can do - you need to believe in yourself and know that when you have these dreams, they are not random, they are assigned to you and you only. Kill your Plan B.
Lastly let's talk about procrastination
I am not going to sit here and tell you what to do when you are procrastinating - that is a waste of time - the answer is stop. Simply get going - stop making excuses - you know your direction and it's your job to take the steps every day. Were all adults - remember we own all the custody to our dreams - it's us to us if our dreams our babies service and thrive
Embracing the idea of having no Plan B goes hand-in-hand with confronting and overcoming procrastination. When we eliminate the safety net of a fallback plan, we place ourselves in a position where moving forward is the only option. This sense of urgency and necessity can be the very antidote to procrastination. Instead of waiting for the perfect moment or the assurance of a backup, we find ourselves propelled by the imperative to act on our primary vision. This dynamic shifts our mindset from one of delay and hesitation to one of action and determination. It's about making a commitment to our goals and dreams, recognizing that the path to achieving them is through persistent, daily effort. This approach not only builds momentum but also instills a deeper sense of responsibility towards realizing our aspirations.
