Room: 10/10 It was absolutely adorable and felt very Icelandic. It had a grey and baby blue theme.
Overal Resort Decor/ Scenery: 10/10
Experiences Offered: Blue Lagoon thermal and mineral pools, all your standard spa treatments as well as in water massages. Silica and Algae face masks for free at the lagoon if you stay with Silica.
Disappointments: Was not able to have a single spa treatment. It was a good learning lesson for me to book ahead for these things next time.
Tip - Book spa when you book your hotel room. This hotel is extremely popular, and there will be zero availability of treatments if you wait for your arrival.
Iceland surprisingly is a place you could spend a few weeks at. We only allocated 8 days to Iceland thinking there wouldn’t be much to do. We were wrong! Iceland is full of places to go and things to see. If you are a nature person or love outdoor sightseeing, you will be in heaven! Know that you need time because a lot of the destinations will take a significant amount of time to drive too. And they are all worth it!
