Dress Code - Formal, but I rocked ripped jeans and a cardigan. I got a few looks but also made a few friends while eating.

When traveling, do it right or don’t do it at all! Ever since I visited my very first luxury Hotel in 2011. I vowed to myself that from then on out I would only travel in class. This meant luxury, trendy, or boutique iconic hotels. Eat at the best restaurants, and treat myself to life experience I could not get anywhere else. A dollar spent this way has never given me anxiety. I would rather go on fewer vacations and experience the ones I am talking to the MAX. I am a strong believer that seeing what is possible in life gives you the ability to then choose to attract it. I want to see and do the best of the best, expanding my world, and seeing what is possible. Because if it is possible for someone else, then it is possible for me. This sort of living has expanded my world, my vocabulary, my understanding of different cultures, and created a drive within me that will not stop until I have this lifestyle full time. Having luxury experiences, makes me want to work harder, smarter, and faster. It drives me and pulls me towards my goals.

The first Michelin restaurant of the London leg of my trip was Helene Darroze at The Connaught Hotel. With 2 Michelin stars, Helene Darroze is a French restaurant, with southwest fresh flavors. Voted London’s number 1 restaurant.

Menu - I had yet to experience a menu quite like this! Talk about getting creative, the restaurant has designed a board game to act as the menu. It is a dish sized piece of wood with small white marble balls sitting in all the slots, on each ball is the name of main, appetizer, or dessert. You are to remove the balls you do not wish to try until you have selected your 5, 7, or 9 courses. The balls left on the board will be your tasting menu. The waiter will then come and rearrange your choices in the best order for flavors.

For the evening my Smile was Max Coffin - An adorable younger French man from Bourdeau. He Was so passionate about the wines and as he spoke about them his eyes actually sparked. It is one of my favorite things in life to watch people speak about the things they love. Me, I could not tell the difference between box wine and 100 GBP wine LOL (Classy, I know ) and I was happy to be educated on the wines and where they came from or what made them unique. This was the first time in my life that I asked to take the picture of a bottle of wine. They were all fantastic, however, 2 of the wines blew my mind. I marked them below.

Coursed meals make the perfect self-love date. If you are looking to take yourself for a romantic dinner alone, I suggest a Michelin and or a coursed meal. At a restaurant of this quality, the amount of time the staff takes to explain each mean and wine, you will never feel alone. I am perfectly content for at a 33-hour​dinner alone when it is coursed. Entertained by the education and enthralled with the food and its flavors​ I am more than occupied. I am really happy I treated myself to this evening out because it was the best meal on my entire trip.
