Quarry is more than my dog. She is an old soul, she is my teacher. I believe she knows things I don't know. I try to learn from her as she shows me things when I pay attention. It is not a coincidence that I have a Chow Chow. Chow Chows are an ancient animal. The first record of the Chow dates back to 150 BC ( that's before Christ!!!) during the Han Dynasty. They were used as temple guards in China, Mongolia, and Tibet. Unlike any other dog breed, they have 44 teeth and are said to be able to see/ hear spirits. It is hard to get a Chow to look you in the eye, they instead look right above your head. Almost as if they are seeing your aura. Ancient legends tell stories of the Chow Chows mouth and tongue being black to ward off negative spirits. Meet Quarry 🙌🏻 #sōngshīquǎn
